4 new carts for Alex Andersen - constructed and delivered by Fyns Karosseribyg A/S

ROR is flourishing

in Denmark

Alex Andersen by Odense, have had 4 flower carts delivered and constructed on Volvo FH 6x2, there was mounted SOR Iberica ATP-boxes and Carrier-refrigerator equipment. The carts are from Norwegian Istrail in Poland, and there was mounted 2 pieces of 10 ton ROR axles in cooperation with Bevola. All units are built and supplied by Fyn Karosseribyg A / S, Odense.

With consideration of the environment

Based on the close cooperation between Fyns Karosseribyg and Bevola, it was decided, to construct a cart, where the focus was targeted on the economy and the aftermarket. The choice of the chassis body builder fell on Norwegian/ Polish Istrail. Istrail is already supplying chassis for Scandinavian conditions. Bevola in Denmark and as well as Bevolas department in Norway have had a longstanding collaboration with Istrail, and it was natural to equip the constructions with Scandinavian solutions. This means that most parts on the carts are provided by Bevola.

Large financial savings and climate related improvements

The carts are mounted with 2 pieces of 10 ton ROR axles with disc brakes, and the Knorr brake system. Two of the four carts are registered in Sweden, and all four carts are mainly operated in Scandinavia - and therefore, it is also easy to get replacement parts and other components from Bevolas departments in Norway, Sweden or Denmark. Bevola delivers ROR axles, for the Scandinavian market.  Through Bevolas CAAC concept, all axles go through an individual adjustment, for the specific driving conditions and in relation to the type of running. CAAC is Bevolas unique and innovative platform for axle adjustments. CAAC "Computerized Axle Adjustment Concept" is created based on the desire to optimize the overall economy of the hauler and to support the EU climate objective.

  • We are testing with success

Bevola is testing on both BevoBur as well as BevoUrd. The projects are unfolding in the Swedish forests and are including the development of a standing shock absorber, for our ROR axles, and a breaking caliber, which has been moved up, and therefore created larger clearance.
